Mercedes-Benz service intervals have been set to ensure you get the best performance from your vehicle over its life.

Sprinter: 30,000km / 1 year (Whichever comes first)

Vito/Valente: 23,000km - 30,000km (Service Assist fitted)

Below you will find an example of the items covered during a Standard A Service (Plus Oil Service) and Standard B Service (Maintenance Service). For this example only, the service sheets relate to Sprinter and Vito models and the items covered may vary between models.

Mercedes-Benz Standard A Service

Body maintenance sheet

Check vehicle for paint, corrosion and accident damage

Enter and confirm completion of service items in Digital Service Booklet (DSB) (if applicable)

Engine-oil and filter change

Check seat belts, seat belt buckles and seat belt lock extensions for external damage and proper operation

All major assemblies: Engine, transmission, transfer case, front axle, rear axle, steering, power steering pump, brakes

All lines, hoses and sensor cables

All containers, equipment, shock absorbers, front axle ball joints, covers, boots, and protective caps

Auxiliary rubber springs

Check steering mechanism: tie rod, drag link, rubber boots and protective caps

Replace fuel filter with water separator

Air filter element: Check soiling (air filter with indicator lamp)

Replace air filter element

Check brake pads for lining thickness and condition of brake disks

Reset service processor

Check water drain bores in floor region of sliding door (first service only)

Engine-oil and filter change

Signalling system, indicator lamps

Headlamps, exterior lamps

Windshield wipers, windshield washer system, rear window wiper, headlamp cleaning system

Check seat belts, seat belt buckles and seat belt lock extensions for external damage and proper operation

Check poly-V belt for wear and damage

Replace air filter element if required

Replace dust filter for rear- and high-performance A/C

Replace dust filter for heating/ventilation or activated charcoal/combination filter for air conditioning

Trailer hitch: Check function, play and attachment

Reset service processor

Automatic transmission: Oil and filter change

Transfer case: oil change

Front axle oil change

Check charge level of diesel particulate filter (DPF)

Hydraulic brake system: replace brake fluid

Manual transmission: oil change

Rear axle: oil change

Refill with new coolant
